average day

Today was average. At first we were all hoping classes would be suspended because at around seven it was raining so hard. But after an hour or so the raindrops started coming down slowly until it finally stopped raining for good, even though the clouds still looked an angry gray. We were all so disappointed, and I was in a bad mood for most of the morning. Not because it stopped raining, but because I was simply pissed at everyone for no reason at all. My classmates were planning the batch shirt today and I was the only one who kept complaining that it looked so ugly. It really did too. Fellow Filipinos…you know those loose sleeveless shirts those guys wear when they play basketball? I’m not talking about jerseys; the cotton shirts. Well that’s what our batch shirt looks like. I suggested that a jersey shirt might look nicer but they said the seniors had a jersey batch shirt last year and they didn’t want them to think that we were copying them. I had to roll my eyes at that dumb-ass excuse. Better let those seniors think that we’re copying them rather than look like whitetrash. I dunno if that’s final but if it will be, I’m not going to pay a single cent. Let them wear their batch shirt; I will wear my own. I wouldn’t have been so riled up if Nenok (manok!) wasn’t acting like a total bitch…I was direly tempted to wring her neck and throw her out the window right then and there. She sounds worse than a market vendor! People who aren’t market vendors who talk like market vendors are one of my pet peeves. I think I pissed a lot of people off this morning. But do I really care? Of course not.

My mood improved just before lunch. By the time afternoon classes started, I was pretty much my old self. I got a grade of 100 in my Home Ecs–a real first because I never really liked doing Home Ecs projects. Nothing else worth mentioning happened.
