I can’t believe how fast the weekend goes by. I so do not feel like going back to my uber-strict Catholic all-girls school tomorrow. Hopefully Denilou doesn’t give me more bullshit, God knows I’ve had enough of that. *sigh* Well at least the rest of my friends accept and respect my desicion to be different. Still, I can’t help but wish that I knew more people who are a lot like myself.
I woke up around 11 in the morning today from a much needed twelve-hour sleep. After a long shower, I went to the Power Plant to watch a movie with my mom and my sister. My mom wanted to see if we could watch American Pie 2 since she was with us anyway. But the girl selling the tickets said we’d have to ask the movie usher since she didn’t really have a say in it. Although my mom was willing to talk our way in, it would be a hassle to go back and buy another ticket if the usher said no. Ugh, and I really wanted to see that movie too!
So we watched America’s Sweethearts instead. I swear, I love all of Julia Roberts movies but I bet America’s Sweethearts wouldn’t be such a big hit if she and Catherine Zeta-Jones weren’t starring cos it tended to drag on a bit. And although I’m not a big fan of love stories, I liked it a lot; it was sweet but not weepy and dramatic. After the movie, we roamed around the mall a bit. I saw this really awesome Kurt Cobain poster at the CD store but I used the last of my cash yesterday afternoon…bummer! I plan to cover the wall of my room in our new house completely with posters and right now I’m only in the process of collecting them. Oh well, I’ve got an entire year or so more until we start furnishing it, but I certainly hope they’ll still have that Kurt Cobain poster in stock.
I think it’d be best if I start fixing my things for school now. I haven’t even removed my black nail polish yet! I can’t wait for sem break.
