Mom: The choir manager is inviting you to join their Germany concert tour.
Me: WHAAAT? GERMANY (screams). What part of Germany?
Mom: The whole of Germany . I’ll know the details soon.
Me: When is the tour?
Mom: sometime mid-April 2002 to early June 2002. So are you interested?
My mind is swirling. These thoughts are running through my mind. GERMANY! Casey is in Germany. Will he watch me there? Even if he won’t, I miss singing. I miss performing . I love travelling. I’ve never been to Europe. I wanna gooooooo. On the other hand, I’ll surely be a loner but who cares? I’ll spend my time taking photos. Eek. I hate bunning my hair. The choreographer is going to yell at me again. I dread the long hours of practice…the insults thrown at you if you make mistakes. I’m such a slowpoke in between costume changes. I’ll have to give up drinking soda and eating chocolate candies for 2 months.I’ll have to skip my Spanish classes . And if I don’t go, I’ll surely regret it like I did last summer.
Ahhhhhh…choices. What is my fate?
