I watched Serendipity yesterday with my mom and sister at the Power Plant . What a beautiful and romantic movie. I think the idea of the entire universe conspiring and sending you all these coincidences just to bring you and your soulmate together is aboslutely romantic. Ahh, there was a place mentioned in one scene that freaked me out. Was that a sign? Hmmm. But I seriously doubt I will find a soulmate (or The One or whatever) in this day and age. Even if The One is already there, it takes two to make it happen .
At the serendipity thread, my stand is that : I believe fate and destiny play a very important role in our lives. We live borrowed lives–we only exist here in earth because we have a purpose, and fate/destiny leads us so we could fulfill that purpose. Of course we make our own choices but not even we can fully control what will happen in our lives.
