Last night, I went to see Barbie’s Cradle live for the very first time ever. And I got her autograph. Read more about it in my journal.
After the concert, my mom picked me up and we met up with dad at a restaurant for dinner. The moment I sat down, my dad asked me “what do you want?” Immediately, I said “an electric guitar” . (Of course , he meant what food did I want to order ) To my surprise, he said “sure”. Hmm, that was easy then I wondered why. He picked up his cellphone and called his bestfriend and law partner. Here are some snippets which made me laugh:
“Doesn’t Acme (name changed) owe us some money? “yadda…yadda”
“Is it alright if I get an electric guitar to offset their debts?”.
“It’s for my daughter ” “You know Lauren, my eldest?”
“she wants be a rock star” (/me laughs)
“No no…, not Tina Turner” “more of The Corrs” (/me ahhhs)
