Ugh my internet connection is so slow and erratic . Then I found this in my inbox:
Pleased be inform that the APCN (Asia-Pacific Cable Network) link is currently down. Initial reports from our providers reveal that South and Southeast Asia is widely affected. Furthermore, technical problems with APCN’s link in Korea apparently caused the outage
Unfortunately, our providers estimate the outage to last from two (2) to three (3) weeks. Among the major telcos affected within the region are MCI Worldcom, Singtel, Hongkong Telecom, and Globe Telecom, some of which are major bandwidth providers of Destiny.
At present, we are only running at 67 0ownstream and 250pstream capacity. We, however, are collaborating closely with our providers to find an immediate solution to the problem. It is expected that our capacity will significantly improve to 78 0ownstream and 50% upstream by this evening. It is likewise our hope that normal operations will be restored at the soonest possible time.
UGH THREE WEEKS!!!!!
