The Protagonist oekaki, the doodling BBS has its own little community. I never realized there were a few active artists there. So it inspired me to upgrade to OekakiPoteto, Version 3.1.9. The OekakiPoteto (Japanese romanji conjugate of “Protect”) is a PHP extension of the Oekaki BBS and PaintBBS; it dosen’t rely on picture.cgi (which can easily be hacked), and is more protected in the fact that it uses a private registration system for users to post pictures. And this version has a lot of cool features like a chat for users, adult picture posting protection, support for the oekaki bbs, paint bbs and the notebook bbs etc. etc. Check it out .
