Dodo asked me the benefits of making BLOGGED XHTML compliant. Actually I never thought of the real benefits. All I wanted was a site that had a validated code. But looking at the benefits, I believe this is the way to go for all weblogs, since a lot of sites can now be accessed by “wireless devices, Braille readers and other specialized web environments”. I don’t have plans to make my whole domain XHTML compliant…just this group blog and my online journal. Converting from traditional HTML to XHTML is easy, as long as you work carefully and observe the rules in this styling guide.
