I was passing by the Classics section at Power Books to see if they had a book on Indian folk tales or mythology when I spotted a copy of A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett. I didn’t find the book that I was looking for but I bought A Little Princess because it was my favorite book as a kid and I want to reminisce about my childhood. Upon paying for the book I suddenly realized that I will never ever be a kid again (although I still look like one, sorta). That made me feel quite sad. I wanted all the innocence and laughter of my childhood back, but with every passing day I am getting closer and closer to the harsh realities of the real world.
