How sad. According to CNN reports. A U.S. missionary held hostage by Muslim rebels has been killed during a rescue attempt and his wife was rescued after sustaining injuries, according to a Philippines military official. Over a year ago, they were snatched by the Abu Sayaff rebel at a beach resort, while celebrating their 13th wedding anniversary . The missionary didn’t deserve to get kidnapped, suffer for year and eventually die. At least his wife survived but still…They devoted a good number of years in the Philippines doing missionary work for the poor. Another hostage, a Filipina nurse was also killed. I wonder if US soildiers were involved in the rescue attempt.
