School was quite boring today. You’d think that on the first day of school something interesting would happen, but all we ever do in the first day is talk about the rules and die of boredom. It’s a good thing we were let out an hour early today, otherwise I would’ve completely lost my mind. Aside from learning about the rules, which I already know by heart, we had to memorize the school mission/vision. Something about witnessing the Good News with the poor people and cherishing traditions and values and stuff. What a load of crap. Nobody ever becomes the kind of people my school wants them to be when they graduate. I think the mission/ vision is just something the principal concotes to impress the parents or something, cos they never do come true. But somehow, I managed to memorize it anyway, for extra points.
