Good news and bad news!
The good news: A local Civil court ordered this water district office to pay me ________ pesos , for a family class suit filed 12 years ago. Whoa, it’s quite a sum of money but….
The bad news: My mom doesn’t want me to take it yet because it was a family class suit and only 3 of us were paid damages.
Rewind: 12 years ago, my mom’s family had a reunion. Little did they know that the water they were drinking in the party was contaminated with Hepatitis A. A few weeks later, five of us ( 2 uncles, my aunt from the USA, another aunt and myself) contracted Hepatitis A. The saddest thing was my lawyer-uncle died from complications. 
Hence , my mom’s family filed a class suit. I heard my deceased uncle and aunt from the USA won’t be receiving anything. Strange huh? Where is the justice? More on this later. I’m still shocked that there even was a case. I remember getting sick , vomitting and getting hospitalized and all …
