It’s been awhile since I’ve received emails from parents cos of my keypals club, such as this:
Please note that we received our first (and hopefully only) reply from using your website. A boy called Ben who is 9 years old and likes soccer was selected by our football-mad nine year old son. The e-mail said:
just to let u know i am gay and would like to kiss u some day
Because of this we are having to change our e-mail address. Yesterday, not far from where we live, the bodies of two 10 year old girls were found dumped at the end of a track and there is a suggestion that internet paedophiles are implicated. Do something about this – it is your responsibility to keep your site monitored. It may be a kid having a joke but we are not laughing.

Well, all I can say is that at least they are keeping watch over their kids. I mean I’ve receieved letters like that in the past but like my parents used to say, the internet is very much like real life. Be careful of the people you meet. So what else can I do?
