Daynah’s Oh Mother journal entry rings quite true to most Filipino mothers as well but NOT my mom. When we shop together, it’s because we want to buy this and that and she know’s better than shop for her own stuff with us. 
And she avoids those “Midnight Sale” because of the crowds and neither does she stock up on this and that. Shopping is so much fun. Why make it a nightmare experience?
