Darn it! We usually visit my little brother’s grave on November 1. But there have been warnings on the high threat of terrorist bombings in crowded places. Actually it was my visiting Aunt (an American citizen) that told us of the warnings.
“Information available to the United States government suggests terrorist groups may be planning to attempt bombing attacks in public areas in the Philippines …. “
“These areas include shopping malls and other public gathering places, such as cemeteries and night spots, in the Metro Manila area during and after the upcoming holiday weekend for All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day,” it said.
No place in this world is safe.
