Fantasy Log is taking part in Blogathon 2003, where we blog for 24 hours straight to raise money for charity. Last year we raised $244 for cancer research in Blogathon, and this year we’re hoping to beat that amount as we blog like mad for Direct Relief.
Direct Relief International was established in 1948 and is non-sectarian, nongovernmental, and apolitical. All our programs are provided in a non-discriminatory manner, without regard to political affiliation, religious belief, or ethnic identity.
Our mission is to improve the health of people living in developing countries and those who are victims of natural disasters, war, and civil unrest. We work to strengthen indigenous health efforts of our international partners by providing essential material resources � medicines, supplies and equipment.
