Ahhh, I had to go back to PC Express yesterday because they installed the wrong processor. Got it swapped to an Intel Pentium 4- 2.6 C 512 KB 800 MHZ HT. Wow, Hyperthreading Technology. Multitasking like never before. And as an added bonus, mom got a DVD/ROM installed.
I don’t know if other countries have this “customize your PC”. At PC Express , a sales technician assists you in the parts for your new computer. They ask for your budget and if you’re a gamer, or multimedia freak etc. etc. All the parts are customized to your needs. After that, you pay for the parts, claim the parts and have it assembled for FREE by their technicians. You can even wait for it ; at most 3 hours if there are lots of customers. I wasn’t around at this point because I had to go back to school so I wasn’t able to check if the parts were really what I ordered. Anyway, everything amounted to $959 including the Win XP Pro SPF 1.
So there…it has no brand.
