Just got back from Baguio city for a 3 day stay.
At the country club veranda:
No slippers allowed
The waitress points to out my birkenstock sandals that “slippers are not allowed”
Geesh, do they look like slippers to you?
Anyway, my mom being mom retorts, “they are birkenstock sandals”
She was about to add that she wouldn’t buy a 2,500 peso slipper but the waitress backed off and ran away to get a menu card.
