If you’re a Filipino, you might have received one of these emails about Faye Nicole San Juan, an 11-year-old girl who has been winning big contests, the last one being the “Intercontinental Science Quiz Net” in Australia where she topped a field of 57 students from all over the world.
Well, well , well. The story is a fake. Ugh, the mother of the girl made up all these lies and poor little girl was even interviewed on TV like “Jessica Soho Reports”. eep.. what a shame! And poor kid. She played along with her mom’s stories.
“Our heart goes out to a child like Faye whose mother is in deep emotional problems,” the letter added.
Valencia, in a talk with the Inquirer, said that Faye’s mother appeared to be the one who thought up the entire story of her daughter winning the quiz bee.
