On December 22, 1996 , I started an online journal. So that makes it 8 years old today. DUH! I still refer to my site as an online journal even if blog is the appropriate term these days. My reasons for starting my online journal, particularly during my high school years, was because it was the best way for me to express myself since
I felt that my friends at school didn’t really understand me. Today , I don’t really feel that need because I have found sincere friends. Thus my online journal has changed its focus .
Here is the original HTML of my first journal entry. Fortunately, my gracious host, worldkids.net still kept my site… how sweet of them.
I don’t know if I will still continue to post journal entries like I used to but definitely, my site will be around for many years to come.
