One of the books I got from my wishlist is the Comic Book Encyclopedia : The Ultimate Guide to Characters, Graphic Novels, Writers, and Artists in the Comic Book Universe by Ron Goulart
It has a lot of comic covers and images and is a great fun book for beginners like me.
