Two deaths in our batch in less than a month . Well , there ’s Sharky Tan who was a tsunami victim. But the death of Xavier Yu, an AB Political Science is quite strange. News report says that “The victim, along with some classmates, reportedly went to the
condominium unit ( Burgundy Building on Katipunan Avenue) of another classmate, Harold Yu, for a group study.
Later, Xavier excused himself to pee. He proceeded to the veranda and positioned himself at the edge, the witnesses said. It was too late when they noticed that the victim lost his balance and fell to the adjacent Prince David Condominium.
According to his classmates, Xavier was under the influence of liquor at the time of the accident.”
His friends have a different version though. “Media cannot be trusted.”
I mean, come on…what a way to die?
