If you’ve never been bitten by fleas, you ‘ve been spared the torture of itching for days. It’s worse than a mosquito bite . Not only does it itch like a bitch, it leaves a scar on my feet and legs. It takes months and months for the brown scar to fade away. My stupid adorable kitty , loves to loiter around the neighborhood, socializing with the tom cats and their fleas and in turn passes it on to me. I’ve taken the matter into my own hands and ordered the whole house vacuumed and sprayed with some insecticide spray. Kylee is taken daily baths and will soon have a flea collar. If I continue to have flea bites, I don’t know what to do next , short of putting my kitty in a cage. Nah, that would be torture. Fleas fleas, go away.
*EDIT- After vacuuming the whole house , our helper told me that as she unzipped the bag, the fleas were indeed trapped inside. She said that the fleas were jumping all around the vacuum bag. Immediately she poured the contents in a pail of water containing bleach. Eek. Our whole house was really infested with fleas.
