Finally the State of the Nation Address has ended. She says a constituent assembly may give the people the quickest reforms. “I shall work with Congress, civil society groups and local government executives who are convinced that Charter change is needed to enable the country to surmount the challenges of the 21st century.” This might mean our government might become something “parliamentary”, like our Asian neighbors. This change will give the President a graceful exit and probably provide a solution to our political crisis.
