The new year was dark and noisy. Dark because our stupid MERALCO (the one that provides the electricity) had some emergency line trouble. Noisy as usual because of the firecrackers.
So there we were,lighting up some fireworks amidst the darkness. The roman candle seemed like a flare that lit up the darkness. As always, tradition dictates we partake of our noche buena which consisited of paella, pasta, buko salad and some greens.
