The Final 24!
It was a long walk to find out the judges verdict. At centerstage a lone spotlight revealed two chairs facing each other. The rest of the theater was dark. It was to be a one on one with a judge and a contestant. Ira Marasigan was faced by Kiko who told her, “You were in the MAYBE group…in your last performance you sort of got lost with the lyrics but you will continue your idol journey…” To Drae Ybanez, Mr. C said, “ it’s a difficult competition Paul. We listened to so many good singers, matira ang matibay, congrats.” Drae’s reply was a rush of tears and a big thank you hug for Mr. C. Yova Alonzo was thanked by Kiko for being himself but it was time for goodbye. Yova was enriched by the experience and would cherish it as he goes back to life in Cebu. The journey also ended for Janice, Myla, and so many others. Those who remained were now going to compete in the upcoming live performances where the viewing public would vote their idol choice.
