The latest American Idol intends to raise money for the fight against poverty. All the performers sang inspirational songs in light of the fundraiser last night. The best performances tonight was no surprise, both Melinda Doolittle and Jordan Sparks wowed us again. The weakest performances were by Chris Richardson and Lakisha Jones.
Melinda Doolitte sang a Faith Hill song, ‘There Will Come a Day.’ She did it well, like usual. Most people agree that she is the most likely to win American Idol. But close behind here is another favorite Jordan Sparks.
Jordan Sparks sang, “You’ll Never Walk Alone.” The judges felt that she could have a hit record with that performance. To top it off she is only 17 years old. Randy thought it was the best vocal performance in the last six seasons of the show. She could still win, if she can pull off a few more awesome performances like she did last night.
