For Philippines viewers, you can now watch American Idol in the local TV network Quality Television, Inc. (Q-11) since they got the rights to air the show’s 7th season starting tonight , January 16.
Q-11, a subsidiary of listed GMA network, Inc. snatched American Idol’s broadcast rights from the Coquangco-led Associated Broadcasting Co. (ABC-5) which had been airing the program in local free TV since 2004.
Starting tonight (January 16), American Idol fans in the Philippines can watch the season premiere on Q-11 VIA SATELLITE AT 6:00 p.m. The show will then have an encore telecast on the same night at 8:00 PM. Q-11 will then broadcast the entire 7th season of American Idol Wednesday and Thursday nights until the new winner is declared on May.
