America is WEIRD. On last night’s show, Syesha Mercado, Michale Johns, and Carly Smithson was in the bottom three. Guess who went home? Michael Johns, of all people! I don’t like him as much as Jason Castro but man, he didn’t deserve to be sent home so soon. I really expected Carly Smithson to go because she’s been giving subpar performances for weeks now, and her version of The Show Must Go On was nothing short of bad. Even the judges thought that her singing was rather off, vocally and emotionally. Syesha isn’t so bad, but Michael Johns is a more superior singer and overall performer than she is. Also, why wasn’t Kristy Lee Cook in the bottom 3? Why is she still in the show? She can’t sing, I don’t like her, and I don’t know anyone else who likes her (aside from her family probably, which must be a very large one).

Overall I’m pretty disappointed with last night’s results. I am now convinced that either Americans have bad taste, or the voting is rigged.
