The story of David Cook is one of totally serendipity. He went to the American Idol auditions to support his brother and ended up bagging the title! Despite predictions that David Archuleta’s fangirls will prevail, David Cook won American Idol Season 7 by 12 million votes.
Oh, and you’ll never guess what Simon said. You know how he lambasted David Cook and said David Archuleta would win? He changed his mind about that and said that the sound on TV was different from the sound in the Nokia Theater and that it was an even score, not a David Archuleta win. Then he added that the votes would probably swing in David Cook’s favor. I have a feeling he knew that Cook would win, hence his wishy-washy comment.
