From David Cook Sizzles With Record Chart Debuts

“American Idol” runner-up David Archuleta lands three songs on both charts, led by his cover of John Lennon’s “Imagine” (No. 36 Hot 100, No. 16 on Hot Digital Songs, 71,000).

Being number 36 is VERY solid for a short length live track. Most can’t even make it past 50. This will be quite good for David Archuleta.

On the other hand, David Cook has 11 debuts on Hot 100 and 14 on Hot Digital. Cook’s debut album for 19 Recordings/RCA is due in the fall.
