David Cook just got signed by RCA records and is preparing to work on his first album, which will be released in fall 2008. Sources say he’ll be recording the album during the summer while he’s traveling with the American Idol tour (which will start on July 1 in Glendale, Arizona and ends on September 13 in Tulsa, Oklahoma). His first single, “The Time of My Life” sold 236,024 tracks on iTunes in just four days, and he also has 17 tracks on the Top 100 Digital Songs Chart - the most number of tracks any artist has ever had.
David Cook seems really excited and happy to be signed by RCA Records and says that the deal is “truly a dream come true.” He’s looking forward to the recording process and can’t wait to show his fanbase and the rest of America what he’s capable of doing.
