After the relative success of her debut album Small Town Girl, Kellie Pickler will be releasing her self-titled sophomore album this Tuesday, September 30 during her performance on The Today Show. The first time she was on The Today Show was to kick off the release of her first album almost two years ago, and a chihuahua up for adoption apparently peed on her during her return visit last December.
The September 30 Today Show performance will start off a very busy fourth quarter for the singer, who will be making many US TV appearances until December, where she’ll be reunited with American Idol host Ryan Seacrest as a correspondent for Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s.
The Kelly Pickler album has five songs written by Kellie, a song called “Best Days of Your Life” which she co-wrote with Taylor Swift, as well as the hit single, “Don’t You Know You’re Beautiful.”
