The Prayer has got to be my favorite song. I listen to many versions of this song. Jessica Sanchez sang “The Prayer” by Celine Dion in her Sing for Your Life performance . As I watched Jessica Sanchez singing “The Prayer”, I could not help thinking that she was praying hard to get in the Top 24. It is a beautiful song sang by a wonderful daughter. She wants to be in the competition so badly to help her family.
She is tired to see her family struggle and that is why she wants to help her family. Jessica tears as she faces the judges “I want it so bad”. 16-year-old Jessica Sanchez dreamt of being on American Idol since she was five years old.
She is happy as Jennifer Lopez asks her to join the top 24.
Jessica Sanchez will go places. I hope she does this also for herself and not just her family. Her motivation seems to lie in her family. It is tough being in a competition. I hope her dreams will come true not only for her family but for herself.
