Over at myspace.com, it looks like the top 12 American Idol contestants have an official site there. Or is it just placed there so no one takes the spot?

For the past 2 weeks or so, Starhub (an ISP in Singapore) users could not access any of the sites hosted at the Protagonist Webhosting. Trace routes show that there is no connection or network problem . Starhub even emailed us to find out what is causing the “slow page loading” . It remains a mystery as our sys admin is still finding out the cause. But anyway, Carine gave me the good news that:
My ’starhub’ readers have feedback to me that they can view the pages now, after sending complaints to starhub. So I guess this problem is solved
I hope it is really solved. *cross fingers*
We have this more than 2 year old post at the Protagonist Forums about a federal sentence for threats. The accused, Jerry came to the boards to explain his side of the story. He posted the other half of the story.
First off, the guy threatened was not an innocent bystander. He would instigate arguments with me just to get me to threaten him. He would then log it, and send it to his friend in the FBI. Sure, what I did was dumb….but I at least want you to understand that He was not a “victim” of anything. You get away from something that threatens you……you dont keep poking it with a stick, do you? I got punished for what I did with a felony conviction, but you have to ask yourself if it really fits that crime, taking into account the mitigating circumstances.
It pays not to make any threats at all because you don’t know if the other person has connections with the FBI. So just hold on to your seat and grit your teeth and bear the insults.

I’ve upgraded the now obsolete Protagonist Ring, originally found at ring.the-protagonist.net. I’ve renamed it Top Blog Sites and it even has its own domain name, er …what else, topblogsites.net. What’s cool about this new script is the ranking will be based on total monthly unique hits that resets every month. None of that voting mush. Your blog or journal can be placed in different categories with corresponding cutesy banner (size 234 x 31) . Although public voting is a feature, it will NOT pimp the ranking.
