Cool Apple Gadgets

Applele: The picture of the fictitious Apple product was made. Wouldn’t it be cool to get the Apple iPhone or the iPod boombox. They are just fantasy.

I want a new digital camera

I want a digital camera! My last camera was a Canon Ixus 430 which could not be revived after it fell to the aquarium in the states. That’s 30,000 pesos down the drain. I will probably get a Canon again but to get the money to buy is the next question. The Canon SD 400 will be perfect for me.

An IPOD Nano

Merry Christmas to all! I finally got an iPod Nano. It looks so fragile. I ‘m not bringing it out till I buy some protective case.

iPod Nano

Wahh, I don’t even have an iPod. This iPod Nano is what I need.

Take everything you love about iPod and shrink it. Now shrink it again. With 2GB (500 songs) and 4GB (1,000 songs) models starting at $199, the pencil-thin iPod nano packs the entire iPod experience into an impossibly small design. So small, it will take your music places you never dreamed of.

500 songs is enough for my listening pleasure

Pee Powered battery

Pee-powered battery smaller than a credit card

To activate the battery, a drop of urine is added and soaks through the sandwiched filter paper. The chemicals dissolve and react to produce electricity. The magnesium layer acts as the anode, losing its electrons. And the copper chloride acts as the cathode, mopping up the electrons.

I can just imagine myself:

“Damn my cell phone is dying… hold on let me pee on it”

According to this news article:

Her silhouette has sold millions of iPods - but the girl behind one of the most recognizable ads in the world says she can’t even afford one of the pricey gizmos.

She only got $1,500 but that’s okay since her face is not really seen. It’s just her silhouette. Still, if I were the model, I would have insisted in getting a free iPod together with my talent fee. A few years ago, I remember my mom getting a free cellphone (upon her request) from a cellphone provider. She leased one of their family’s properties so the provider could set up a new tower. I mean, one can get such deals you know.

I did it again. I dropped (rather my camera chose to fall out of my bag) my canon IXUS 430 into a shallow saltwater pool at the Aquarium. I fished it out right away but I think it’s dead. As first aid, my uncle Erik dried it using some “freon” cleaner. ugh, the battery is charging now but I don’t know if it’s really going to work. There goes my $400.00 camera.
