If you haven’t seen Kellie Pickler in the last 2007 Country Music Awards (CMA) , here is a video of her singing “I wonder”
Video of Kellie Pickler I Wonder at the CMA 2007.
Even if one is not a Kellie fan, one will be amazed at her sterling performance. She sang it with such heartfelt emotions. One can feel the pain, of not knowing her mom during her early childhood days. I wonder is a beautiful song about her life.
Sometimes I think about you
Wonder if you’re out there somewhere thinking bout me
And would you even recognize
The woman that your little girl has grown up to be
Cause I look in the mirror and all I see
Are your brown eyes looking back at me
They’re the only thing you ever gave to me at all

[tag]Kellie Pickler[/tag] must have been tormented on how her mom is doing. Cynthia Malone is the name of Kellie Pickler’s mother who abandoned her when she fled a relationship with Kellie’s father, is indeed thinking about her. Kellie was only 2 years old at the time her mom left.
From Reality TV World:
“Leaving my baby [was the worst thing I felt]… Leaving my baby. That was the hardest decision I had to make,” Malone said during a television interview that aired while her estranged daughter, whom she abandoned when Kellie was a toddler, was performing her single “I Wonder” at the 2007 County Music Association Awards ceremony on Wednesday night.
“The only regret that I have looking back at my life… I have to forgive myself for what I did,” Malone told WGHP-TV, a North Carolina Fox affiliate. “If I had a choice, or if I had the tools that I have today, I would have done something so much different.”
The song centers on the American Idol fifth-season finalist’s relationship with Malone — and Kellie was visibly emotional throughout the performance, leaving Nashville’s Sommet Center stage in tears and speaking the last line of the song instead of singing it.
This is such exciting news. Holiday music will soon fill the air with a new CD tracks from Carrie Underwood and Kellie Pickler.
From From CMT.com
New recordings by Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler and Sara Evans will be featured on Hear Something Country Christmas, a 14-track holiday CD set for release on Oct. 2. Among the six new recordings are Underwood’s “Do You Hear What I Hear,” Evans’ “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” and Pickler’s remake of Eartha Kitt’s classic from the ’50s, “Santa Baby.” Rounding out the new tracks are Terri Clark’s “O Little Town of Bethlehem,” Blaine Larsen’s “Away in a Manger” and Keith Anderson’s “Please Come Home for Christmas.” The remaining songs are previously-released music from Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Martina McBride, Brad Paisley, Brooks & Dunn and others.
The Santa Baby song suits Kellie Pickler’s personality perfectly.
